Here is an overview of FAQs to guide your travels with us across Sierra Leone at Leone Cabs.
  • Do we book the driver & vehicle here (UK / Europe / USA) or in Sierra Leone?
    You can book anywhere in the world as long as you are travelling to Sierra Leone.
    Like any other booking (e.g. flight, accommodation, etc.), you book your destination and duration of use online here and we will send your booking confirmation details and driver upon arrival in Freetown.
  • What type of vehicles do you use?
    We have a range of 4x4s and SUVs we transport our passengers in to suit all terrains nationwide across Sierra Leone.
  • Where and when do we get picked up from upon arrival?
    Anywhere in Freetown as all journeys start here to your final destination. You will fill out the section Pick-up point with the address and time you would like our drivers to collect you from.
  • Any extra costs involved - vehicle fuel, maintenance?
    Outer Freetown - Beyond Jui Junction, Goderich, Western Penninsular regions and Sierra Leone's Districts:

    After making your booking and payment online, it is the passenger's responsibility to provide fuel for all journeys.

    It will be the passenger's responsibility to top up the vehicle's fuel levels as desired throughout their trip.


    Inside Freetown - East & West-end (Jui Junction to Goderich)

    It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure sufficient fuel is in the vehicle.

  • Can I self-drive? (Book vehicle without driver)
    No.  We provide both vehicle and driver for your final booking as we are not a vehicle rental service.
  • Any discounts involved for longer driver-&-vehicle bookings?
    If you are travelling for more than 1 week (7 days in a row minimum), discounts will be offered at final discretion of your journey by Leone Cabs Management.
  • Where are our drivers & vehicle fleet based in Freetown?
    Western Peninsula Region.
  • Are we connected to Sea Coach Express?
    No, we are an independent service from them.  However, we can collect and deliver passengers through them.
  • What happens if I pay earlier and decide to cancel my booking?
    Notify us 4 weeks before your scheduled start date of booking with your details via text to  +44 (0) 7949908171 or +232 (0) 72904044 and we will provide a refund.  Any cancellation under 4 weeks and Leone Cabs retains up to 50% of your final booking payment due to administrative charges.  Any booking within 48 hours of use of service and no refunds are issued.
  • Can I book for a month or longer as a company / organisation, NGO? 
    Yes.  Please fill out your details via our custom order form and we will provide a discount for your long-term booking.  N.B. No refunds will be provided after a commercial discount has been provided, except at the final discretion and reasoning of Leone Cabs management.
